About the ACM Organization

ACM, the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. ACM provides the computing field’s premier Digital Library and serves its members and the computing profession with leading-edge publications, conferences, and career resources.

Founded at the dawn of the computer age, ACM’s reach extends to every part of the globe, with more than half of its nearly 100,000 members residing outside the U.S. Its growing membership has led to Councils in Europe, India, Pakistan and China, fostering networking opportunities that strengthen ties within and across countries and technical communities. Their actions enhance ACM’s ability to raise awareness of computing’s important technical, educational, and social issues around the world.

ACM-Buitems Chapter

The Association for Computing Machinery(ACM) is the world’s biggest computing society and BUITEM-ACM student chapter gives you a chance to become a part of this community. This is general platform to promote knowledge, awareness and skills among multiple domains of computing. You meet awesome people from your area of interest where you learn about advancing technology; take part in regional and worldwide competitions; collaborate with academia and industry to work on the latest products. In addition, you can also share your ideas, access digital library and workshops, and much more.

A number of tasks, seminars, competitions and training sessions have been conducted on the platform of BUITEMS-ACM Student Chapter. We are your society and we listen to you. We do stuff that matters. We love to learn and create. So, join us to make this society stronger than ever!
